Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman won three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics at London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze on balance beam. As a result, she became the first American to compete at an Olympics with the top number of medals. The 2016 Olympics brought her the gold medal in the team event, earning her as well as Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans ever to win consecutive gold medals for a team. Her silver medals came in the floor individual and all-around competitions. Between the two Olympics she had taken a break from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. She was also a part of the gold medal winning American teams at 2 World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly works with her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her grandmother. She would like to become a fashion designer and expand the line of socks and leotards in the coming years. Fierce A novel, which she is writing will come out this year.
