  Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott), an American musician, rapper and songwriter. The stage name he uses is the name of a beloved uncle combined with the first name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I.  The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo (2015), his debut studio album included the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was able to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to reach first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
